About NEET

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate (MBBS/BDS/Ayush Courses) every year. As per Government of India, it is a mandated requirement to qualify NEET Exam to study medical courses in India and abroad.

Eligibility criteria for NEET

 Qualifying exam requirements:

·       Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects from a recognised board.

·       Candidates studying Biology as an additional subject after passing class 12 are also eligible.

·       Students with min. 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 for general category (45% for PWD & 40% for SC/ST/OBC) can appear in this examination.

Minimum age:

·       Students should be 17 years as of Notification of NEET generated by NTA.

·       As per the NEET eligibility criteria, there shall be no upper age limit to appear for the entrance exam.

NEET Documents Required:

The minimum documents that each student must submit online on the NTA website for successful completion of registration are as below:

·       Scanned copy of passport size photo

·       Scanned copy signature

·       Scanned copy of left hand thumb impression

·       Scanned copy of 10^th marksheet / certificate

NEET Application Fees:

The fee for successful application & registration of NEET can be done through online mode only i.e. net banking/debit card/credit card. The application fee for various categories is as below:

·       General Category: Rs.1, 600

·       General –EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs.1,500

·       ST/SC/PWD/Transgender : Rs.900
