About MHT CET

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, also known as MHT CET, is a state-level entrance test to select candidates for admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programs at various colleges throughout Maharashtra. The exam is conducted every year by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. 

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria- Courses wise

Candidates applying for Maharashtra CET must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The CET Cell has specified conditions that every candidate must ful fill to be considered for admission to courses in Maharashtra. The MHT CET eligibility criteria are

Courses

Subject in 12th

Percentage of Marks

B.E./B.Tech

Candidates must have passed or appearing in HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/ IT/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/ Technical Vocational subject or Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology

Candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks for OPEN & (40% marks for EWS,PWS , SC/ST/OBC)

B. Pharma

Candidates must have passed or appearing HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry along with either Mathematics/ Biology

Candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks for OPEN & (40% marks for EWS, PWH , SC/ST/OBC)

 

Minimum age:

·        As per the MHT CET eligibility criteria, there shall be no age limit to appear for the entrance exam.
